Personal decisions
A decision that changes your life, not a quarterly report
Divorce, co-signing a relative’s loan, inheritance, moving abroad, a mortgage, walking out of a job. There is no risk department here and no board: the people who advise you love you, and so they go easy. Opponentura convenes a panel of critics that does not go easy on your decision — before life tests it for you.
These are the same hearings as for business questions: the same procedures, the same document at the end. Only the subject differs.
What people bring
Divorce and dividing property
Settle or go to court, what to split now and what to keep jointly, what each road actually costs.
What the panel does: The panel looks at your decision through the eyes of the other side and their lawyer: where your position breaks first and which document fixes it.
Co-signing a relative’s loan
Your brother asks you to co-sign, the bank asks for your flat as collateral, and saying no looks like betrayal.
What the panel does: We weigh not “sign or not” but what happens to you in the worst case and which terms make that risk survivable.
Inheritance and wills
How to divide things so your family does not end up in court; who gets the business; what to do about the debts.
What the panel does: We take apart the consequences, not the wording: who contests it, on what grounds, and what you can do while you are alive.
A large purchase on credit
Mortgage, car, renovation: can you carry the payment if income drops by a third.
What the panel does: We test the assumptions the arithmetic rests on and name the condition under which the decision stops being right.
Moving to another country
Work, children, money and the way back: decided once, undone expensively.
What the panel does: A pre-mortem: the panel assumes that a year from now it all went wrong and writes the story of that failure — before it happens.
A fight with your employer
Resign now or wait for redundancy, sign the settlement or not, argue about the bonus.
What the panel does: We check what each of your positions actually rests on, and what happens if the other side plays hard.
What you get in hand
The hearing runs in a courtroom genre: the panel speaks, argues, votes and returns a verdict. Behind the genre are ordinary things, and they matter more than the words:
- The risk is named — not “complications are possible”, but what breaks and under which condition.
- What backs it — a source, or a plain “not confirmed”; there are no invented references, and before printing the report is checked by a model from the other vendor.
- What happens if the risk lands — in money, time and relationships.
- What to check first — instructions with dates, cheapest test first.
- The condition under which the decision holds — and when it is time to change it.
The verdict is APPROVE, REVISE or REJECT. You still make the decision: the Service signs no contracts and goes to no court for you.
About the people you mention
Names and figures can be anonymized — “my sister”, “Company B”, “around three million”: it does not hurt the analysis. There is a no-trace mode where nothing remains with us but the number and the file digest. There are no analytics scripts on this site at all. More — about data.
What it costs
The first hearing is free: the panel convenes with three critics and you get the verdict. The written report is unlocked separately. After that — by plan; the full breakdown is on the plans page.
